Jill Reehl’s first job was a junior high school teacher at a public school in Chicago. Although incredibly rewarding, after five years the task of instilling music theory in unruly pre-teens began to lose its appeal.
Jill took many of the skills she’d learned in the classroom in a new direction and became a sales associate at Chicago Music Works in 1997.
By 1998 Jill had established her own commercial agency Get Reehl in Chicago to represent everyone and anyone – directors, editors and music composers – connected with the business of cutting edge advertising.
Teaming with partner Maggie Davis in 2008, the pair were able to establish a west coast outpost for Get Reehl/Get Davis (GRGD) and in the last decade and a half have helped to build many of the companies and brands they’ve worked alongside into internationally recognized leaders in their fields.
When not figuring out how to get her clients the best jobs in the business, Jill can be found dancing at music festivals, BBQ-ing for friends in her Silver Lake home or chewing the ear off a bartender at Musso & Franks. Natch.
It was an apologetically cold day in Toronto when Maggie started her career in production at Radke Films, fresh from completing her first undergraduate degree in Montreal. Spoiler alert: not her last degree. Maggie enjoyed many roles during her time at Radke, from producer to working on set in the art department. A few productive years went by and then Maggie decided it was time to gain a few more degrees to expand her mind and ensure intimidation at all future cocktail parties for eternity. She earned an undergraduate degree in sociology from NYU and then a master’s degree in communications from the London School of Economics.
In London, Maggie’s intelligence increased but the weather temperatures absolutely refused to. She knew it was time to move to sunny Los Angeles. In LA, Maggie worked with Arianna Huffington and in PR for Heal the Bay. Soon after, she was lured back to the glamorous world of advertising to launch Get Reehl on the West Coast with Jill Reehl. In a flurry, Maggie and Jill built a robust roster of A-list companies. Maggie soon became a partner in the business and Get Reehl/Get Davis was born.
Maggie and Jill have now worked together for eleven wonderful years. In her spare time, Maggie enjoys long runs, drawing, painting, cooking, nurturing her many incredible children, and wondering how she can create more spare time.
A product of the City of Angels, Breanne Pace got her first fix of glamor as a kid visiting her dad on set. After being bitten with the creative bug she pursued any avenue that would get her nearer production.
In her senior high school year she began freelancing for the KTLA morning show and soon after landed a job at graphics company Mdots, which designed and produced the NBC and Telemundo upfronts live from Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Her next move was into advertising production, which she worked at for several rewarding years before joining GRGD in 2010.
Now largely based in the mid-west Breanne’s out-of-office passions are CrossFit, spinning, yoga (actually anything aerobic and adrenaline-based), mentoring women, dogs and coffee.
Before breaking into advertising, Michael Petrucelly was an Encyclopedia salesman, courier, paralegal, wine peddler, substitute teacher and drummer in an obscure indie rock band.
In the late 2000s – with the band going nowhere – Michael was introduced to the owner of a small Brooklyn ad agency where he learned his trade crafting commercial films.
He left New York in 2012 to take up a job as senior producer at Leo Burnett Chicago helping to produce award-winning ads for global brands Brooks Running and Samsung. Michael moved to Amsterdam in 2018 to work at 72andSunny on another raft of international clients, including Adidas, Coca Cola and Uber. He and wife Ericka moved back to the states two years later, making Los Angeles their home, before he was poached by GRGD in 2023.
Michael loves Mexico City, still likes to hit the skins like Dave Grohl, can shuck a dozen oysters in less than a minute and makes a perfectly acceptable gin martini.
Oren Daniels started his career as an independent talent manager in 2014, helping to enrich the creative and cultural community of his native Chicago.
Over the next few years he worked with a handful of leading local artists and creatives to produce music videos and cover art.
In 2021 he made his way into advertising as a music producer at DDB Chicago and worked on key clients including Miller, Kroger and the US Army. He helped advance and enhance the music strategy of these and numerous other leading brands.
Wanting a move to the creative capital of the world and back into developing and representing talent, Oren moved to LA and joined GRGD in 2022.
Oren is a music lover, and when he’s not jamming out to tunes at home, he can usually be found in the pit of the Greek Theater.
